Description

Agro-K’s Cal-Mag Dextro-Lac®, a foliar micronutrient, is derived from calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. A series of proprietary manufacturing processes are used to separate the calcium and magnesium from their carbonate molecules and link them to polysaccharide molecules creating a nutrient product linked to a sugar base. The term Dextro-Lac® is used to convey the process and resulting product. The Dextro-Lac® process creates a foliar calcium-magnesium product that can quickly penetrate plant tissue – leaves, buds, fruit skin and bark. Nutrient uptake happens directly through the cell walls. Once inside the cell, the calcium and magnesium polysaccharide molecules are easily metabolized and mobilized by the plant system.
